- Colourful objects or toys.
- Whiteboard and markers or a chalkboard and chalk.
ACTIVITIES:
1. Introduction (5 minutes):
- Begin by
displaying visual aids with images of different colors.
- Point to each
colour and ask students if they know the names of these colors in English.
2. Color Identification (10 minutes):
- Hold up colourful
oujects or toys one by one (e.g., a red ball, a blue crayon, a yellow flower).
- Ask students to
identify the colour of each object in English.
- Repeat this
exercise with various objects.
3. Color Vocabulary (5 minutes):
- Write the names
of the colors on the board (e.g., red, blue, yellow, green).
- Pronounce each
colour, and ask students to repeat after you.
4. Interactive Activity (5 minutes):
- Have students
stand in a circle.
- Show a colourful
object and say its colour in English.
- Pass the object
to a student and ask them to say the colour before passing it to the next
student.
- Continue until all students have had a turn.
5. Story time (3 minutes):
- Read a short
story or show a picture book that features different colors.
